Job title: Watchman
Salary & Benefits: 20,000 + paid leaves + life insurance +overtime
Responsible to: Operations department
Location: Islamabad and Peshawar Office
Purpose of Job: Under general supervision, monitor the office premises and to monitor visitors.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Access to the main gate should be monitored closely
- Register all visitors in the Visitors book and give them a Visitors pass
- Politely ask all visitors to wait at the office entrance (make sure chairs are available) and then seek the permission of the person that they are visiting before showing them in
- Remember to take visitors’ passes back from visitors when they leave the office
- Familiarize yourself with regular visitors and to greet them accordingly
- Perform frequent yet random nightly checks; patrol the outer perimeter of the compound regularly.
- Maintain a vigilant watch on what is taken from the office by all national employees, and third parties. Report anything unusual to supervisor or SFP.
- No weapons are permitted in the compound, if theft or vandalism occurs these incidents must be reported immediately
- Remain alert to potential unrest at all times
- Ensure security lights are turned on at night and report maintenance needs to the administration
- No visitors or strangers must be admitted into the office compound at night when the office is closed.
- Continually monitor the security situation, actively gather security information and share this with supervisor or SFP.
- Responsible to fill the water tank and fuel tank of genset if there is shortage and inform the Admin Office immediately.
- Keep monitoring office genset regarding fuel consumption, repair and maintenance.
- Any other task assigned by the line manager/supervisor
Job Specifications:
- Healthy and physically fit.
- Minimum matric pass qualification is required
- Can read and write
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience
- Army retired will be preferred.
- To have a flexible attitude towards work and to carry out additional tasks as requested by the Supervisor
- Any security, first aid or fire extinguisher related will be a plus point.
