POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Handyman will report to Caretaker Supervisor and will be responsible for general electricity installation, maintenance and repair.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Arrange for A/Cs
- Fixing of new electricity items including switch boards, light plugs, light bulbs etc. as and when required
- Replacement of damaged electricity items including switch boards, light plugs etc…
- Routine maintenance of the electricity power generator and fuelling at the project villa and the office
- Minor plumbing and carpentry
- Clearing or cleaning general areas
QUALIFICATIONS: (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
EDUCATION: Matriculation
WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of experience in similar capacity. Prior experience with USAID funded project will be preferred
SKILLS: Flexibility and an ability to adapt to varying demands and work under pressure.
LANGUAGES: Basic understanding of English and Urdu
GENERAL: Tactfulness, Enthusiasm to the job. Good Human Relation skills, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
