Introduction:
HelpAge international is implementing an integrated project of livelihoods, food security and health in KPK and FATA. Under the project one of the deliverable is the provision of quality health services at their doorstep to the target community of KPK and FATA in different medical camps arranged by HelpAge international. Services of male refractionest are required in medical camp to check / diagnose beneficiaries who requires near vision glasses and provide near vision glasses to beneficiaries in medical camps.
Duties:
Services of One refractionest are requested for medical camps in Peshawar. Services will be required on daily basis in medical camps on need base with below JDs,
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team in the provision of health services to beneficiaries in medical camps.
- Diagnose / check beneficiaries in medical camp with eye problems and recommend required glasses.
- Distribute near vision glasses in medical camps.
- Ensure that duties and function are undertaken in a manner that prioritizes the safety and wellbeing of beneficiaries.
- Communicate effectively and soft spoken with beneficiaries.
- Ensure dignity of older people and person with disability,,
- Taking care of HelpAge International asset, mission and vision
- Working with HelpAge International staff in a coordinated and integrated manner,
- Submit report after each camp
- Insure availability in medical camps / Meetings arranged by HAI staff.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Specifications:
At least diploma in refraction with one year relevant experience. Higher education will be preferred
