Since 2013, World Learning has been working in Pakistan to implement multiple programs focusing on activities in early grades reading, professional development, and IT-related workforce development across various regions of the country.
We are looking for a strategic PR partner who can work with us across our various projects being implemented in multiple locations across the country.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The PR Agency will be required to ensure appropriate execution of the following tasks:
- Develop and maintain corporate public relations and advertising policies, plans and programs to ensure effective public relations in projecting the efforts of World Learning and USAID AGES project.
- Create a positive image of World Learning and USAID AGES project
- Disseminate press releases and ensure maximum coverage in press for important announcements at World Learning and USAID AGES project
- Should monitor Electronic Media News Channels on 24/7 especially after a World Learning or USAID AGES event to ensure media monitoring of the coverage
- Monitor print media newspapers, periodicals and magazines to ensure that any information about World Learning and USAID AGES is provided to the organization
- Develop and design advertising Media plan and execution for World Learning
- Should have established contacts with social, cultural and commercial organizations to obtain their goodwill and support in order to further the interest of World Learning
Detailed specifications of each individual assignment will be given to the selected PR Agency as and when the services are requested.
Qualification and Expertise
The successful PR Agency is required to meet the following criteria:
- The firm must have adequate size; structure, staffing, facilities and financial standing to provide comprehensive services related to development and execution of Public Relations, media campaigns/events.
- They should be accredited with APNS & PBA and should not have been suspended by them in the last one year. The interested agencies/firms meeting the criteria should send an application with a complete profile
- Firm must possess 10 year experience of working with international organizations and the development sector
- The firm would either have its own effective media buying capability or have linkages with local and international media buying agencies to ensure the best value for money. The option of appointing a separate Media buying agency other than the appointed PR agency will remain with World Learning

- Team profiles
- Work portfolio
- Client record
- References list;
Deliverables/Expected Outcomes
The following deliverables and outcomes will be expected from the PR Agency:
- Every press release disseminated to be published in at least 10 publications per event.
- 4-5 electronic media appearances for every event that involves the agency.
- Appropriate media monitoring services.
Contract duration
The contract will be effective from date of signing until notice.
Terms and conditions of payment
PR agency services will be delivered on an on-call basis and will be paid on a retainer basis monthly in local currency.
