Summary:
CMP has developed training manual with technical support of AKU- HDP. The training manual is being used to train the School Health Nutrition Committees (SHNCs) members and other communities. Training manual contained basic information regarding nutrition, health, and hygiene. Furthermore, CMP will develop manual/ module on peer education and train field staff on Peer Education, who will further train the teachers and peer students, who will further trickle down to peer educators through school/ cluster level sessions (Peer to peer learning).
Objectives of the Assignment:
- Review the training nutrition and hygiene manual with peer education/training and session perspective.
- Develop/module on peer education (topics related to peer education) in English, Urdu Sindh languages.
- Design trainng and sessions strategy (activity based)
Scope of Work
The consultant will conduct a review of nutrition and hygiene training manual peer education. On the basis, review consultant will develop a module on peer education. Moreover, deign training and session strategy (activities based) Manual/module is to understand peer education and peer to peer learning concept. Training and session will enhance the participant’s capacity on the basic concept of a balanced diet, three food groups, health and personal as well as environmental hygiene.
Methodology:
The Consultant is responsible to review nutrition and hygiene training manual and develop a module on peer education and add related topic along with activities in three languages. The consultant will closely work with Advisor health and DCOP – programs.

Core Competencies:
- Must have Master degree in nutrition and health or relevant subject.
- Proven and demonstrated experience in development of training manual for nutrition, health, and hygiene
- Excellent skills in material development for peer education and training.
- At least 5 – 8 years’ experience of review manuals especially on peer education and material development.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Urdu and Sindhi.
Consultancy Duration & Duty Station:
The consultancy duration is one month and the duty station will be in Karachi.
