Position Objectives:

An Accountant is responsible for the examining, analyzing and preparing financial records and statements for an organization

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities
|
|
|
Financial Management of Donor Funded Programs.
|
|
|
Timely Submission of Cash request.
|
|
|
Timely Transfer of funds.
|
|
|
Responsible to maintain donor designated bank account by preparing bank payments, bank receipts and all related adjustments.
|
|
|
Responsible of monthly Bank reconciliations duly matching with movement of fund reconciliation.
|
|
|
To Assist Finance Manager in preparation of donor wise Project Accounts.
|
|
|
Responsible to ensure financial reporting to donors on agreed formats & timelines.
|
|
|
Responsible to ensure field expenditures accounting before forwarding to donor.
|
|
|
Coordination with NHQ program managers for funds accounting procedures including management of working advances, program budget management and financial reporting.
|
|
|
Preparation of quarterly/monthly cash flows of related donors.
|
|
|
Responsible to file management of related programs.
|
|
|
General office correspondence with donors on daily basis.
|
|
|
To assist Finance Manager on donor Budget Preparation.
|
|
|
Responsible for Fund Reconciliation with donors.
|
|
|
Responsible for Reconciliation with Branches.
|
|
|
Ensure that the accounting is done in compliance with the relevant society’s laid down SoP’s and IFRC/IAS as applicable in Pakistan.
|
|
|
Any other task as may be assigned by the Management.
|

Education
|
|
CA/ACMA/ACCA Inter or Master Degree in Financial Management. (MBA, M. Com and equivalent).
|
|
Experience
|
|
Minimum Three Years of relevant experience after completion of Professional Degree. Preferably with national or
|
|
International Humanitarian Organization.
|
|
Skills/Knowledge
|
|
Well knowledge of Accounting Concepts, Financial Management, Financial System and advance use of MS Office.
|
|
Travelling
|
|
Willing to Travel in the field areas.
|
|
