Job Description – VP Sales
ï· Managing an entire sales force of 150+ employees
ï· Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets
ï· Define optimal sales force structure
ï· Hire and develop sales staff
ï· Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
ï· Able to understand the overall energy requirements of selected projects, define and understand deployment structures and phases
ï· Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
ï· Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
The requirement of the Role:
ï· Must have taken a company from $0 revenue to $100 M
ï· Experience in working with Senior Management to align sales strategies and solutions
ï· Must have experience in Corporate and / business focused environment
ï· Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record, for successfully pitching of new projects
ï· Proven track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads
ï· Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
ï· Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
ï· Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
ï· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
ï· Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
