Minimum Education: BS/M.Sc Geophysics
Minimum Experience: 10 Years
Job Description:
In charge of the geophysics planning and quality assurance section and supervision of all section staff. Specifically this involves:
1. Participating in Seismic Evaluation and Design programs and selection of recording parameters.
2. Setting up infield processing for quality control purposes.
3. Managing others to achieve the sections results (facilitation of high production / QHSE balance)
4. Ensure appropriate procedures and techniques are used to meet the highest client / company specifications.
5. Be technically proficient in the operation and repair of all equipment, equipment selection and backup planning.
6. Ensure data are securely handled and quality controlled until delivered to the client.
7. Working diligently to improve skills and knowledge and being active participants in Land related issues.
8. Being fully competent in all aspects of more jobs such as Field Geophysicist and juniors (and their training modules) and thoroughly assesses and assists in training. Be in regular charge of the geophysics section and supervise junior staff.
