Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech dedicated to international development, is recruiting for Security & Risk Coordinator for a USAID-funded project in Islamabad, Pakistan.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Security & Risk Coordinator will be responsible for Health, Safety and Security and will report to Security & Risk Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • To advise all staff on Health, Safety and Security in office.
  • Making sure that all staff has been given briefing on security on their arrival in the office or joining the organization.
  • Sending advisory and Security alerts to the staff members.
  • Collects security information from different sources on daily basis and prepare a weekly security incident report and sends to all SEP staff.
  • Staff tracking while they are traveling and sharing the upcoming security developments info with staff members
  • Assist in obtaining NOC and security clearance for the staff going in field.
  • Monitor security situation in all project areas.
  • Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees
  • Follow procedures for fire prevention
  • Perform recon exercises and ensure the drivers are cognizant of all locations
  • Assist in conducting security risk assessments in country.

QUALIFICATIONS: (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Security and first aid / Trauma trainings Certifications

WORK EXPERIENCE:             

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in security services
  • Should be aware of Pakistan's Provinces
  • Police / Military background preferred.

SKILLS:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong communication and Leadership Skills.

LANGUAGES:                         

  • Language proficiency in Urdu, English and Pashtu.

GENERAL:                                         

  • Tactfulness, Enthusiasm to the job. Good Human Relation skills, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
