Background and Objectives:
USAID/Pakistan awarded Louis Berger Group (LBG) with a three (3) year Punjab Youth Workforce Development Project (PYWD) to work with at-risk youth in Multan, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh and Bahawalpur to secure gainful employment and play a positive role in their communities. The Program will facilitate employment opportunities for 10,000 youth (including 35% women) will implement the following activities: a) proactive community engagements to mobilize at-risk youth; b) institutional capacity building and re-tooling of over 22 public/private vocational training providers; c) co-opting of prospective potential private sector employers for trainee placement; d) career counseling services; as well as e) providing access to finance for youth entrepreneurs.
We are required Call Support Representatives for short term consultancy services for the project. The consultant will directly report to the Communications & Outreach Specialist. He/She will provide support the Communications & Outreach team in the process to plan and implement the SMS mass awareness campaign (of three-month). In order to gauge the response and outreach of the campaign, a toll-free number will also be sent to the target audience along with SMS text.
We require Short Term Technical Assistance- Call Support Representatives, who can perform the following tasks, while seated with and reporting to the Communications team:
- The designated staff/Call Support Representatives (seated with and reporting to the Communications team for three month) will attend calls after dissemination of SMS contents, note queries, maintain call log and submit weekly reports with graphical illustrations to gauge the response of the campaign. The Communications & Outreach team will convey the queries to the relevant department, who will revert to the caller with appropriate response.
- The designated staff will be taking calls from 9 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Other requirements for the incumbents include,
- Graduates/A levels from any renowned institute
- Vocal, articulate, confident, having command in URDU, Punjabi and/or Seraiki
- Skilled in reporting, graphics, maintaining call-log
- Equipped with soft skills
