Applicants are to submit a Technical and Financial Proposal for developing a comic book series.

Technical Proposal details:

Background

A call for creative firms and organizations to develop a comic book series for young people with a focus on child marriages and gender-based violence. Those applying must demonstrate competence in the following areas: 

1)    Concept

• Storyline development—writing a script with three main objectives

a)    Youth engagement

b)   Child marriage

c)    Gender-based violence

• Scriptwriter should incorporate Behavioral Change Communication in their writing to promote the objectives and values associated with ending child marriage and gender-based violence.
• The script is to be set in Pakistan, with relatable and inspiring characters
• The storyline should accommodate a series minimum of 6 issues

2)    Designing

• Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in high resolution illustration and graphic design
• Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of cinematography and its application in graphic novels or comic book strips.
• Capable of creating model sheets and character turnarounds
• Recommend printing details or be capable of printing considering the requirements of this project.
• Create a comic book which can be printed and accessed digitally.
