Relevant Experience: Master Degree with 3 year relevant experience in the field of Security and Liaison.

 In order to increase access to quality education through the expansion of a successful Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) linked to the official curriculum under Department of Education, Governments of KP and Sindh provinces, Organization will reach 4,000 adolescent girls who should be enrolled in grades 6 to 8 of selected secondary government schools (4000 girls in KP province: 900 in Buner via 20 schools, 1400 in Swat via 30 schools, 1700 in Peshawar via 37 schools). To carry out mandatory activities expected by donor, Org will work with both the formal and non-formal education system. Envisaged key activities will include double shifting; female teacher scholarships; non-formal education;  Accelerated Learning Program (includes also literacy/numeracy programs for out-of-school girls); enrollment campaigns; coordination with Basic Education and Community Schools; Building capacity of the education system to more effectively and efficiently deliver; education to adolescent girls, manage schools, and manage resources; Creating, facilitating safe spaces for girls to gather and receive learning to allow the adolescent girls to continue their education and/or learning.

Job Description:

  • Carry out Threat and Risk Assessments
  • Periodically review and update Security Plans.
  • Periodically review and rehearse Evacuation Plans for staff, critical assets and documentation
  • Implements and supports hibernation strategies including stocks of food and equipment as appropriate
  • Implement and monitor staff movement and tracking systems while maintaining operational security
  • Update and provide security orientation and briefs for all new staff and international visitors at field level.
  • Responsible to collect the security information/alert and disseminate these information to all field staff for their safety and security.
  • Will coordinate; track and approve all the field movement with Project manager and field staff.
  • Update the field staff as well as Security manager at HO about any security update of the location.
  • Will ensure that all the vehicles are physically fit for field movement; coordinate with the Admin/Log at the field level for the proper maintenance of vehicles.
  • Ensure that field staff strictly observe the office timing and back to base before sun set.
  • Ensure that the field staff strictly follow the Org’s security protocols.
  • Coordinate with Admin/Log and Security about any out of town movement.
  • Facilitate the visitors; upon their field visit to the location and will provide the guidance for their safety and security.
  • Manage the Security Guards and ensure strictly follow the Org’s Access/Visitor Control Policy.
  • Ensure the office building is full equipped with Fire Fighting Equipment’s.
  • Ensure availability of First Aid Box at the premises.
  • Ensure that all security measurement has been taken to secure the office premises.
  • Ensure and update the Emergency Contact List at field level.
  • Development and review security policy & standard operating procedures
  • Establish training programs and support national security officers and assistants. 
  • Provides periodic security reports to the Project Manager.
  • Advise Senior Management Team  on any changes in the security context and amend security policy & procedures as appropriate
  • Manage and Investigate security incidents and provide a written report to Security Manager,
  • Assist Security Manager in Design and deliver annual security awareness & training programme for all field staff
  • Liaison & co-ordination with UN agencies, INGOs, Police, Security forces & other stakeholders as required
  • Provide oversight of emergency communications including stock management and staff training
  • Identify areas of Security Management requiring external support.
