Training Services Required

Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme (CHIP) is a value led organization that has made its mark in the development sector all over Pakistan.  We are looking for experienced Consutlant or Firm for designing and delivery of 3 days training of CSOs on ‘Social Behaviour Change’ at Islamabad.

Consultancy Title

Required services for designing and delivery of 2 days training programme on ‘Social Behaviour Change’ of 12 CSOs at Islamabad.

Objectives of the Training

The training programme is aimed to meet following objectives:

1.   To increase knowledge and skills of CSOs on basic topics of immunization and data management of immunization programmes;

2.   To assist in designing social behaviour change strategies for their communities in view of the local context; 

3.   To introduce methods for mobilizing caregivers of unimmunized, defaulter and refused children for social behaviour change; and

5.   To train CSOs in collecting, maintaining and managing reliable data of CSOs contribution to increase in immunization coverage.

Experience

Any Firm or Individual Consultant having atleast 10-15 years of designing and delivery of training programmes on Social Behaviour Change for immunization particularly for CSOs.

Qualification Points

The Firm or Consutlant have extensive experience of training delivery.  The experience statement shall highlight following areas:

•    Track record of designing and execution of training programmes;  
•    Experience of working with CSOs;
•    Experience of working on immunization programmes in terms of demand promotion and service delivery;
•    Understanding of communities, local context of each province, issues of immunization in Pakistan, understanding of EPI programmes from top to bottom and bottom up; and
•    Flexibility to adopt and adjust the training agenda and training material.  

Description of Services Required  

The Consultant is expected to deliver followings:

•    Trainers manual
•    Participants handouts
•    Training presentations
•    Training Report

The following steps shall be followed to execute the training assignment:

•    Discuss and finalize training objectives, agenda and outline with CHIP;
•    Produce training material including trainers’ manual, participants handouts and presentations;
•    Seek and insert feedback from CHIP to finalize all the material;
•    Execute training – pre and post-test should be integral part of the training; and  
•    Develop training report.

Selection Process

The initial selection would be done on Quality and Cost Based Selection Method. Based upon initial shortlisting, individual interviews would be held.
