Research Officer (RO)

CHIP Training & Consulting (Pvt) Ltd. (CTC) is seeking for qualified and experienced candidates for Head Office Islamabad to fill the Position of Research Officer (RO). Candidates fulfilling the following requirements are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics, or development studies or social science from a reputed university preferably education from international university of repute
• 2-4 years of working experience in donor funded research related projects/ assignments. UNDP, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID experience will be preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in literature review, stakeholder / key expert interviews and other data gathering methods along with the developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in areas such as report writing, publications, conference presentations, and in the ability to translate theoretical, technical, and statistical concepts into accessible reports. This will be treated as the key competence for this position.
• Experience working in or with public and private sector actors strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge and skills of using Qualitative and Quantitative research methods and hands on experience of using different methods
• A team player that could perform effectively within a team environment and can play an important role in achieving goals.
• Ability to accept challenges and achieve targets in given time frame
• Experience of working with international donors on research projects.
• Must be based in Islamabad.
