Job Description:

  • Coordinating and executing the project activities under the guidance of the Project Coordinator
  • Doing social mobilization with CBOs for Education campaign
  • Facilitating and organizing trainings for the CBOs and Politicians, communities, local Govt. representatives, education support groups
  • Coordinating and conducting district level meetings and mobilizing communities on education related issues
  • Facilitating CBOs and Politicians in preparing and implementation of education action plans and school improvement plans
  • Form UCAAGs and District Education Interst Groups in Badin and Tharparkar
  • Assisting UC level Awareness and action groups (UCAAGs) and District Education Interest Groups (EIGs)in preparing and implementation of action plans
  • Assisting education departments in in development of ADPs and inclusion for budget
  • Assisting the supervisor in preparation of the overall, annual and monthly work plan for implementation of the project.
  • Organize Strategic Planning Workshop for EIGs
  • Organize and facilitate project team to launch mass media campaign and public rallies
  • Assist the supervisor in preparing reports of program activities for submission to the Regional Head and Project Manager according to the project milestone schedule and workplan.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the project staff and SPO regional team.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values.
  • Participate in the SPO programme planning and review meeting if needed.
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by the Supervisor.
  • Carry out any other project relevant activities as assigned by the supervisor.
