Qualifications, Experience and Required Skills
- Planning and managing LAN/WAN configuration, firewall and internet usage configuration, IT power infrastructure
- Oversee and Manage troubleshooting, configuration and maintain LAN, desktop, server, UPS and related hardware and all software.
- Provide user and application support to management, staff and visiting consultants.
- Provide regular, secure and tested backup of all data and configuration.
- Technical Support to IT Procurement and deployment
- Configuration and commissioning of procured equipment and software
- Complete documentation/inventory/diagrams of deployed hardware, software, networking
- Work with management team, Procurement Officer and chosen IT vendors to deliver operational, secure and available IT infrastructure and systems at offices and other locations.
- Responsible for internet/email connectivity, including dealing with related service providers.
- Undertake immediate hardware/software trouble shooting.
- Provide support in program related matters and editing/formatting of reports.
- Develop, maintain and update database for consultants.
- Responds to requests for routine technical assistance from staff to resolve access issues and other routine problems related to internet and emails, online timesheet and cloud drives (Google Drive).
- Provides information and basic training to individual users on internet devices, computers, laptop, scanners, printers and projectors.
- Provide support in the arrangement of project activities such as meetings, workshops and seminars.
- Provide 1st line helpdesk support to field office staff members
- Any other task as and when assigned by the supervisor or Senior Management.
Qualification, Experience and Required Skills
- Minimum University Bachelor’s Degree in the related field.
- Minimum 05 years of work experience with strong IT and program support background with an international organization.
- Good working knowledge of MS office, internet and email, database programs, computer hardware & software and internet/email trouble-shooting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have good written communication skills and can communicate in both verbal and written English and Urdu language.
