JOB DESCRIPTION
The position involves development and supporting .NET based solutions at multiple levels in multiple offices. We are looking for a candidate who is highly skilled ready to innovate and has the passion to work in developmental sector. Overall, it requires a practical demonstration of taking lead in development process by giving technical advice, inspecting code quality, assuring process adherence, distributing tasks and coaching team members.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing objectives, preparing action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff including senior management
- Prepare and implement testing schedule for the complete system and oversee the implementation of a new system
- Supervise creation of user manuals
- Train users and field staff
Practical Skill sets:
1. Exceptionally strong experience in VB.Net and .NET framework (Net 3.5 / 4.5)
2. Equally strong background in SQL Server 2008 onwards (making DB structures and writing stored procedures)
3. Practical experience in Visual Studio 2012/2015 and Team Foundation Server.
4. Create and deliver data-driven reports. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. Experience with SAP crystal report and any other similar tool.
5. Practical experience of Microsoft Sync Framework and ComponentOne controls
6. Reasonable Experience with ASP.NET MVC, and C#
7. Good knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery and JSON
8. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Xamarin/C#
9. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and architecture patterns, modeling and design;
10. Experience in designing secure applications and should be aware of security implications from design to implementation phase of project.
Soft skills set and other requirements:
1. Good English communication skills: at least Intermediate level (ability to speak on technical issues).
2. High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills.
3. Able to listen and provide feedback in positive manner.
4. Adaptable to changing situation especially during peak workload.
5. Willingness to travel.
Job Specification:
- At least 5 years of experience in a.Net, C# and Javascript
- Strong experience in software design practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in developing cloud applications would be an added advantage
- Experience managing a team of 3-5 members
