Project Background
A national Non-governmental organization is looking individuals for its Donor Funded project TABEER-Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan (CDIP) implementing in District Peshawar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Project is working to support the consolidation of democratic processes in Pakistan by strengthening the capacity of the country’s institutions to be more effective, accountable and responsive to the needs of Pakistani people. The project will support improved policy dialogue, political debate, and public discourse, supporting citizens to play a more active and informed role in decision-making. The draft roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Assist the Project coordinator for smooth execution of district level activities, including following areas:
- Transmit Means of Verification for all activities to the Project Coordinator & Admin & Finance in a timely manner
- Develop working linkages with local level bureaucracy and public institutions to highlight Project theme & goals.
- Any other task Assign is Management.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings with ECP, NADRA, office bearers of political parties, Election official’s district and local government officials and influential in the assigned communities.
- Contribution in timely submission of all relevant MOVs against respective activities, event reports, assessments, attendance sheets, photographs, media briefings, as defined by PC.
- Assist the Project coordinator of the relevant activities, as per Statement of Work (SoW).
- Ensure all targets are timely achieved in the assigned districts.
- Participate and ensure 100 % attendance in the trainings, sessions/ forums.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should possess Minimum Bachelor Degree or Master degree in social sciences .
Competencies:
- Possess minimum Masters Degree in Social Sciences
- Have knowledge and working experience of basic computer skills.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field (social mobilization)
- Be willing to travel across the project areas Peshawar or to any other area in KP or Islamabad.
