JOB PURPOSE:  The Skills Development Officer is responsible for marketing and entire management of Skills Development Program particularly in Gwadar and generally in Baluchistan.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

Skills Development

  • Ensure the smooth conduction of Skills Training Program effectively by developing coordination with Regional Management and hospitality industry particularly Hashoo Group Hotels (PC and Hotel One).
  • Implement training plans monthly/quarterly basis in line with approved annual plan and detailed implementation plan
  • Responsible for regular correspondence with regional office, communication with hotel management, developing reports and keep project records as per HF set standards.
  • Coordinate with training team/HRM of PC Gwadar, external trainers/experts in hospitality industry and academia in developing question paper, taking written & viva, checking and compiling result in HF-MIS
  • Develop annual plan and financial budget and make optimum efforts to achieve the programmatic and financial targets
  • Coordinate with RPM to implement the approved strategies and action plans to achieve the set targets
  • Conduct marketing surveys to identify the potential trainees, trainings areas and training & developmental needs of allied sector
  • Conduct events e.g. Awareness sessions, food competition, job fairs and certificate distributions ceremonies
  • Maintain office files, admission forms, promotional material and relevant records.
  • Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, trainees and other institutions
  • Identify the target areas to launch promotional campaign, placing of banners, hangers and other means of marketing.
  • Responsible for increasing the market share and revenue growth
  • Monitoring competitors’ activity and develop alternate plan to grip the desired intake and revenue
  • Ensure the timely collection and deposit of trainee’s fee into bank and maintain records
  • Develop summary of receivable, reconcile it and update on regular basis with regional finance.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and six-monthly progress and financial reports on the set reporting tools.
  • Any other task assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Preferably Male having master’s in business administration with specialization HR/Marketing
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
