The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982 and registered as a non-profit company under Companies Act 1984 in Pakistan, AKRSP has been working in Federally Administered Gilgit Baltistan and district Chitral of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the field of integrated rural development with the mission to promote inclusive human development and eradicate extreme poverty.
Satpara Development Project (SDP) is a five year project (2012=2017) and extended for another year, is funded by USAID and implemented jointly by the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF,P) and AKRSP at Satpara dam command are situated in Skardu, Baltistan.
We are looking for a suitable and competent candidate to fill in the position of AutoCAD Operator on Short Term contract for two months with a with possibility of extension for nine months based at our Skardu office.
Job Purpose:
Reposting to the Team Leader the incumbent will be responsible for preparing drawings and maps using AutoCAD.
Experience required:
Above 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Job Description:
- Prepare detailed drawings of different hydraulic structures and channel cross sections and profiles.
- Convert survey data into AutoCAD drawings.
- Extract survey data from the AutoCAD as per requirement.
- Extract data into Excel from the topographic surveys as per requirement.
- Prepare topographic maps and drawings.
- Will keep close coordination with Quantity Surveyor for all kind of assignments.
