POST: Senior Project Manager / Project Manager
QUALIFICATION:
• BachelorDegree in Electrical, Electronics, Computers or in Telecom Engineering (PEC recognized) and Master’s degree in Business Administration. PMP or any other relevant certification will be a definite plus. OR
• MBA / management degree or a PEC recognized foreign degree with project management experience preferably in IT based environment.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE BASE:
• Min 10 years post qualification experience with 5 year experience of project monitoring, implementation and reporting of Telecom / ICT projects.
• Thorough understanding of projects cycle in relation to ICT / Telcom projects.
• Must be well acquainted with Telcom / ICT ideology and concepts and its execution framework in local environment.
• Create project timelines, project plans, work flows and managedevelopment milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure solutions to technical problems through discussion with technical teams to resolve problems.
• Manage all deliverables with any required external vendors.
• Anticipate any potential issues with the project through quick responses and proactive critical thinking.
• Prepare project reports for management and provide technical and strategically insights.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To ensure that all projects are delivered on schedule as per defined budget.
• Monitoring and report all project related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing monitoring and inspection plans, detailed project reports, field investigations and project time lines.
• Frequent field visits of project sites for audit and monitoring.
• Project progress monitoring and compliance checks as per (but not limited to) Project Documents.
• Record meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly.
• Work closely with Technical team to track progress against project timelines.
• Manage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on schedule.
• Track project report findings and ensure corrective actions.
• This job includes 50% traveling of total time in any project area across the country including hard areas.
