POST: Executive Engineer (Monitoring)
QUALIFICATION:
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computers and Telecom recognized by PEC or a foreign degree.
• Experience in monitoring SLA + KPIs of telecom / ICT networks.
EXPERIENCE:
• Min 2 -3 years post qualification experience of implementation of BSS, RF, Transmission or similar IT based projects.
• Good understanding of microwave, optic fiber and VSAT projects.
• Partake in select monitoring visits.
• Ensure that the team is achieving targets and reporting the correct facts.
• Maintain the monitoring and snag removal tracker on a dashboard.
• Technical report writing and corrections in reports submitted by visiting engineers. A sample of 5000 words (approximately) technical report may be required at the time of interview.
• Manage relationships with third party digital delivery partners, focusing on performance management against agreed SLA's and KPI's
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To conduct monitoring visits to BSS, Optical Fiber and Broadband projects.
• To prepare monitoring reports of assigned monitoring visits against defined parameters.
• To liaise with service providers POC for timely snags removal.
• To ensure monitoring timeliness and report any inconsistencies to Manager (Monitoring).
• To effective and continuous communication with Quality Assurance and Monitoring team members.
• To maintain and update monitoring and snag removal tracker after each monitoring visit.
• To investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• To develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• To devise risk management tasks as per field requirement and discuss these with Manager (Monitoring) for possible inclusion in monitoring SOP.
• Extensive travelling may require as per work requirement in any project area across the country.
