Job Description:
1. Ensures that all vibrators are properly maintained and operational
2. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all vibrators on the job.
3. Maintenance and trouble shooting of all vibrators and related equipment
4. Training and supervision of Vibe Operators
5. Responsible for the conduct regular vibrators tests.
6. Be technically proficient in the operation and repair of all types of vibrators especially Sercel, ION.
7. Manage mechanic shop and keep records of vibe spare parts.
8. The Chief reports all Unsafe Acts/Conditions and Near Misses and ensures the implementation of the programmed safety pep talks, safety meetings and safety audits for his department and takes part in accident investigation according to the system in place.
9. Reports to the Party Chief, Chief Observer
Qualification: DAE/B.Sc Mechanical Engg.
Experience: 10 Years
Only those candidates shall be shortlisted who have relevant experience in 2D/3D Seismic Acquisition.
