Purpose Of Job:

The Team Leader instrument is responsible for effective development, implementation, installing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control processes of Fauji Foods. He will do and participate in Asset care (Preventive and predictive maintenance) of Process and utilities Equipment and ensure building and facility are maintained in standard. He will be able to do standalone shift coverage with diversed skills. He will maintain and mange instrument workshop for better troubleshooting activities. He will strive his best to achieve plant KPI’s – Reduction of breakdowns through MTTR / MTBF approach.

Key Responsibilty & Duties:

  1. Ensures a safe working environment
  2. Participates in maintenance tasks and ensure to be completed on time and with quality
  3. Identify the key improvement areas
  4. Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high plant availability
  5. Performs troubleshooting activities as necessary to determine failure conditions and rectifies any defects found.
  6. Discuss planned and unplanned jobs undertaken with AM and Engineering Manager.
  7. Coordinate with internal and external customers.
  8. Close coordination with other departments and businesses for effective communication.
  9. Provide technical advice and support to operators, supervisors.
  10. Work closely with engineering teams.
  11. Estimate time, materials, and equipment required for projects, modification etc.
  12. Respond to emergency call-outs on nights, weekends and holidays.
  13. Perform related duties as required.
  14. Close supervision of each task.
  15. Effective reporting.

Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Finance, HCM , Corporate , Utility Dept.

External

3rd Party Calibration, Tetra Pak and related regulatory authorities.

Key Experience:

  1. Should have good knowledge of Insturmentation of flow, pressure, level and temperature, Variable frequency dirves and PLC based control system.
  2. Should have ability to study the electrical drawings.
  3. Should have good knowledge to perform maintenance of Dairy Plant Equipments with Maintenance reports generation.
  4. 3-5 year’s relevant experience with sound knowledge of instrumentation and control system.
  5. Must have worked in a high volume manufacturing process in a medium or heavy industry preferably FMCG.
  6. Should have to deal with multiple sections.
Knowledge:
  1. Principles and practices of food manufacturing, including: food safety, quality, manufacturing concepts
  2. Participate in modifications to existing systems and installation / commissioning of new assets
  3. Provide methods, equipment recommendations and standard operating practices to optimize processes and meet product specifications.
  4. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  5. Computer Skills including: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
