Provincial Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Field Officer / Project Manager. He/ she will provide direct support to RANG operations in terms of logistics, finance, administration, and community/governmental relations, in the (South Punjab) area. He/ she will ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures for the project implementation, donor policies and procedures, and applicable local regulations are understood and complied with at all times. He/ she will serve as the focal person for coordination with community leaders, local, regional, and international non-governmental organizations (NGO), particularly local civil society organizations in the (South Punjab) area.

The individual will be expected to perform the following jobs:

1. Coordinate project activities at the field level, ensuring quality implementation and achievements of results.

2. Identify artisans and craftsmen in the concerned villages, following prescribed selection criteria.

3. Identify and mobilize artisans and craftsmen in the community to form community based organizations (CBO).

4. Oversee and supervise all base support staff, to include responsibility for their selection, training, and evaluation.

5. Oversee and supervise the development of financial accountability procedures, to include the maintenance of cashbooks, the payment of salaries, the proper coding of all financial transactions, and the timely and accurate submission of all required financial reports.

6. Oversee and supervise the provision of logistics support, to include base management, supply inventory, and vehicle and equipment maintenance.

7. Prepare schedule for field demonstrations, surveys and training programs, including identification of local partners, who are potentially interested in the Project.

8.  Provide support to the development of communication and partnership arrangements.

9. Develop a coordination mechanism for the collaborating partners of the Project.

10. Prepare all logistical matters related to trainings and meetings.

11.  Establish and maintain positive working relations with municipalities and relevant stakeholders in community to ensure cooperation and success of project implementation.

12. Participate in the identification process of small grants beneficiaries.

13.  Assist in the follow-up on small grant implementation.

14.  Purchase of items needed for project implementation following donor’s financial requirements.

15. Monitor project activities and prepare timely field progress

16. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and final progress reports (financial and operational).

17.  Keep accurate recording and archiving of all activities, including financial records, data, pictures, attendance sheets, activity reports, correspondence, etc...

18. Identify shortfalls and obstacles in the implementation of planned activities that would require immediate action and propose relevant recommendations and corrective measures.
