PROGRAMME MANAGER MONITORING &
EVALUATION

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982, AKRSP has been working in Federally Administered Gilgit Baltistan and district Chitral of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the field of integrated rural development with the mission to promote inclusive human development and eradicate extreme poverty.

We are looking for a suitable and competent candidates to fill in the positions of Programme Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (PM M&E) based at our Gilgit (Core) office with extensive travel to field areas in Gilgit, Baltistan and Chitral.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the General Manager (GM) the PM M&E will provide support and feedback to GM and Management for developing strategic directions and programmes.

Experience required:

At least 10 years of related work experience is required.

Job Description:

Some of the major responsibilities are as following:

• Lead in conducting internal and external monitoring and evaluation reports on a timely basis (annual reviews and other reports).
• Lead in conducting socio-economic analysis of programme interventions.
• Prepare project proposals for funding.
• Liaison with donors, AKF, funding agencies and visitors.
• Provide technical support to Sections in conducting research and impact studies, surveys and evaluations of their activities.
• Ensure annual planning, budgeting and reporting systems.
• Identify and arrange training courses and develop inputs for M&E professionals.
• Lead in organizing capacity building training courses on socio-economic research and impact analysis for sectoral staff.
