Chief Geophysicist

Job Description:

• M.Sc-Geophysics or equivalent with Minimum 12 Years’ Experience.
• Experienced Geophysicist to lead the geophysics functions of the company and take responsibility for the Geophysical Projects, providing specialist support for exploration and production assets, primarily in seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation, prospect evaluation, well proposals, and other Geophysical studies/Operations.
• Supervise structural and stratigraphic Geophysical mapping.
• Experience of Advanced seismic data interpretation techniques like Attribute Analysis, AVO, DHI, Rockphysics and Seismic Inversion.
• Evaluation of new acreages/prospective areas and prepare recommendations to increase the Exploration portfolio as business development plan.
• Supervision of the field development plans and activities.
• Supervision of work in collaboration with other teams (Geologists, Petrophysicists, Geosciences Lab Professionals and Reservoir Engineer).
• Good technical knowledge and experience in project(s) supervision.
• Proficient in industry leading softwares Petrel, DSG, Geographix and other geophysical softwares.
• Budgeting & Financial implications for Geophysical operations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and can meet set deadlines. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
