GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:

Impacts of climate change on the upper reaches of the country are visible in the form of rainfall variability, changing patterns of snowfall and rapid melting of glaciers. Despite the vital importance of water resources for the region, there is limited data and knowledge, to effectively manage the transboundary water resources. A scientific study is being carried out on the mapping of the current status of water availability and river flows in transboundary Kabul River Basin so that the future availability of water resources could be ascertained.
