General Scope of Work:

Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordination of the administrative operations for the entire team. The responsibilities include to support the senior management and their teams for maintenance of office inventory of supplies for smooth functioning of the office, transport and logistics support, and event coordination.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise and coordinate all activities related to procurement and logistics, ensure timely delivery in this regard
  2. Ensures that procurements are made according to the instruction of concern person with best quality, in time delivery for the end-user
  3. To prepare summary, of items consumed and generate demand on monthly basis for timely procurement by the relevant section.
  4. Ensure that proper filing system for Logistics and Procurement Unit is maintained including communication with vendors, quotations, business profiles etc.
  5. Revise/develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for procurement and logistics related procedure and policies.
  6. Monitor and extend full support to all Project Offices for logistics related tasks like team visits, transport, lodging, security checks, and travel plans for the staff visits.
  7. Ensure that timely arrangements are made for staff travel, boarding and lodging and facilitation for all official business.
  8. Produce a weekly report for the staff members/visitors who comes on the weekends.
  9. Responsible to make sure to maintain all travel record of staff visits to project sites.
  10. To actively participate in event support in logistics.

Professional & Qualification Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in Administration, or MBA or equivalent from a well reputed Institute
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in Administration
  3. Experience of working in corporate office for logistics support.
  4. Demonstrated ability of implementing/coordinating
  5. Ability to meet targets within tight deadlines
  6. Strong oral and written English communication skills required.
  7. Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural sensitivity.

Primary Deliverables:

  1. Providing logistic support to staff for field or official travel.

The positions relate to a landmark project in Water in the Punjab Province.

All position required frequent travel between Islamabad & Lahore and Districts of Southern Punjab.
