General Scope of Work:

The person will be responsible to provide strategic guidance on all communication, dissemination, and branding activities, in addition to formulating formal communication, dissemination, and branding strategies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To prepare and get the communications and Outreach strategy approved by the Team Leader.
  2. Prepare, with the help of the team, templates and guidelines to produce various communication outputs, such as periodic blogs, annual progress reports, and newspaper supplements, among others.
  3. Guide team to design and implement learning strategies
  4. Produce promotional material including success stories, brochures, lessons learned and other publications and facilitate their distribution to the relevant audiences;
  5. Produce all required project related reports and findings including periodic reports, and other documents that need to be publicized based on the suitability of internal sharing or externally exhibition
  6. Produce and track the rolling events calendar for all events and draft a brief report on each event when complete for dissemination to the appropriate forum.
  7. Coordinate the research on, outreach to, and follow up with institutions, public medias, government agencies, including establishing and maintaining a robust tracking system;
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with potential project partners through outreach efforts;
  9. To develop effective partnerships and collaborations with government, regulatory bodies and similar organizations, schools, higher education institutions, galleries and organizations that work with disadvantaged sectors of society.
  10. To plan and manage activities of training workshops and other learning and outreach events for public awareness.
  11. To monitor and keep up to date with developments in projects
  12. To work with colleagues to ensure that learning and outreach activities are fully integrated into the communication strategy of the company.

Professional & Qualification Requirements:

  1. Masters degree in relevant field (information science/communications), or equivalent
  2. Excellent English language writing and editing skills;
  3. Comfortable editing documents produced by non-native English speakers;
  4. 10 years of experience working in communications or reporting;
  5. Ability to identify and engage effectively with key contacts in media, government
  6. Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and be proficient in the use of styles, templates;
  7. Knowledge of branding guidelines
  8. Knowledge and experience in production of public outreach materials;
  9. Proven organizational skills;
  10. Maturity, professionalism, and positive attitude.

  4. Social Media presence
  5. Newspaper supplements

The positions relate to a landmark project in Water in the Punjab Province.

All position required frequent travel between Islamabad & Lahore and Districts of Southern Punjab.
