Introduction:

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and formulate, in coordination with field Monitoring staff, the quarterly and annual M& E Plans for livelihood sector and projects.
  • Ensure the implementation of the project monitoring plan in coordination with M&E Coordinators, district M&E Officers and under the supervision of Manager PMER.
  • Review and consolidate Quarterly M&E Plans of the programme and submit to the Manager for inputs and approval.
  • Monitor project specific activities at field and facilitate district M&E team in carrying out monitoring activities and ensure timely sharing of best practices and lessons learnt with management.
  • Carry out periodic exercises to assess the impact/outcome and sustainability of the interventions on the basis of baseline information collected at the start of the project(s).
  • Develop and/or refine potential success stories, case studies for learning including impact on vulnerable groups i.e. children, women, disables and minorities.
  • Develop data collection formats and undertake regular data collection on all project component, analyze data and prepare regular updates/reports of the progress for management.
  • Identify and report noncompliance of Policies and procedures along with the conditions defined by the donor on regular basis.
  • Technical backstopping & capacity building and support of districts M&E team and on-job training for effective implementation of M&E plan.
  • Identify and gather a database of information required to be used for carrying out the situation analysis/baselines and identification of project requirements.
  • Keep him/herself updated with sectoral plans, performance against sectoral indicators, government's priorities and analyze on-going livelihood interventions.
  • Review the monitoring and evaluation activities performed by the M&E officers at the field level and provide.
  • Participate in consultative session on developing ERP Project Management and M&E module and project specific MISs, ensure its proper implementation and provide feedback on its functioning.
  • Facilitate in M&E capacity building initiatives at HO as well as District level.

Experience and Education:

  • 5 Years of experience in field of rural development particularly in Livelihood projects, with minimum 3 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Masters in Social Sciences.
