Job Summary:
Overall purpose of the position is to support project officer in implementation of the project and act as a contact point with female project participants. The position holder will be directly reporting to Project Officer. The Assistant Project Office (APO) will assist Project Officer (PO) in day to day project implementation and keep PO updated on issues related to project implementation
Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision of Organisation, Project Officer:
Main Responsibilities:
- To assist project officer in activities related to female project participants
- To assist Project Officer to complete activities related to the program and project management disciplines.
- Under the supervision and guidance of Project Officer, position holder will be responsible for implementing project activities in field with women specifically and others in general.
- To assist PO in developing and maintaining project deliverables
- Assist in arranging programs for in-coming and outgoing official missions, make appointments with project stakeholders
- To accurately record key decisions and action points resulting from meetings
- Conduct regular field visits for project implementation and report back to PO in case of any challenges
- Responsible for field visit reports and assist in developing work plan
- Analyze, summarize, compile and submit reports to the PO of project activities
- To collect and evaluate the data and figures of project activities and generate reports
- To cooperate and coordinate with the internal and external stakeholder for implementation of project activities and vocational training.
- Adequate preparation and analysis of reports submitted to other units and to the donor agencies.
- Ensure to implement child safeguarding/protection policy and Code of Conduct of Organisation.
- Any other assignment given by project officer
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate or Masters Degree in social sciences or any relevant field
- Working knowledge of computers and software’s (MS Word, MS Power Point) is must
- Good writing and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu knowledge of Pashto is an asset.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years experience in the similar position in National or International Organizations.
- Knowledge or working experience in social mobilization will be preferred
- Working with children/persons with disability will be an added value
