Specific Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks within guidelines laid down by managers / supervisor.
  • Tasks are usually routine but will require the use of initiative and/or basic planning.
  • May be responsible for supervising one or more support staff, including basic planning of day to day work.
  • Required to gather and give information to supervisors, managers.
  • Contributes to improvements in processes. Ensure that all goods are stored and packed safely and securely.
  • Ensure that stock levels are recorded correctly on bin cards.
  • Check deliveries of goods for quality and quantity, and record details on goods received forms.
  • Organize the manual loading and unloading of vehicles when necessary.
  • Compile regular stock reports and stock reconciliations, and ensure that discrepancies in stock levels are reported to the line manager.
  • Providing support and information on areas of work covered in their remit.
  • Implements RP Policies to manage warehouse.
  • Day to day planning in line with departmental priorities.
  • Ensure proper management of warehouse including security and maintenance of warehouse inventory system including regular reporting of inventory.
  • Establish and maintain good contacts with suppliers and other organisations.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Procure requested program and program support items following procurement procedures in a timely manner.
  • Account for purchased items and coordinate with appropriate logistical and admin staff members.  
  • Accepts delivery of all commodities and other purchases ensuring invoiced quantity/specifications are in accordance with purchase order. Submits invoices and associated requisition for payment.
  • Manage inventories and stocks in office and warehouse.
  • Coordinate with the landlord for maintenance of the buildings.
  • Shifting of office and allocation of office.
  • Building and office equipment maintenance. 
  • Organize/manage the transport of goods.
  • Arrangement of Accommodation, Air ticket for staff.
  • Fleet Management, vehicle allocation to the staff and drivers’ supervision.
  • Organize RP files related to logistics and keep them updated..
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

.Qualifications / Experience

 B.A with at least 5 years of relevant experience
