Job Summary:

Prepare development document for library and reading program including DIL program activities brief, introduction of library department, functions, performance review, statistics, impact, sustainability, conclusion and way forward and all relevant information for creating donor interest.


Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 

  • Collect and compile available information about Library & Reading program
  • Review data and information collected through DIL school libraries
  • Review Library department initiatives for promoting reading
  • Review assessments and survey conducted
  • Analyze library manual and guidelines for organizing reading activities
  • Write development report as per provided outline
  • Coordinate with manager library and other staff for technical input
  • Share initial draft for report
  • Prepare final draft of report in consultation with DIL staff
  • Edit report for presentable graphics, charts, pictures & etc
  • Provide Coral Draw and PDF version

Relevant Experience:

  • Master degree
  • 5+ years development experience
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working with education development
  • Able to analyze  best practices and modify them to DIL context
  • Experience writing curriculum
