Center for Communication Programs Pakistan, a nonprofit organization registered in Pakistan, is in consortium with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs as its lead for a USAID-funded Health Communication Component of the Maternal and Child Health Program. The Health Communication Component is mandated to improve health-seeking behaviors and strengthen the capacity of Government, civil society organizations, and private-sector partners to design, implement and evaluate Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) interventions for improved maternal and newborn health care in Pakistan. Center is seeking applications from experienced and qualified professionals for the position ofAdmin Assistant based in Islamabad.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support administration of activities carried out under the Health Communication Component;
  • Facilitate in documentation and follow-up all Component related general communication;
  • Assist in purchase and procurement of office supplies and program material;
  • Assist in smooth functioning of office activities by providing necessary support services;
  • Receive in and outgoing partner and vendor related communication, either telephonic, postal or dispatch;
  • Provide necessary support in maintaining record and documentation;
  • Ensure office premises and equipment are in proper condition and working order; and
  • Assist program team, under the supervision of the Admin Manager, for smooth implementation of the Component.

Minimum required experience and qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of schooling;
  • At least three to five years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Basic knowledge of procurement and logistic support and of civil works;
  • Basic skills in reading and writing English language
  • Available to work at odd hours (if needed)
