Relevant Experience:

Qualification Required:

Masters degree in social sciences preferably in Gender/Women studies

Experience Required:

5-7 years of progressively responsible project management experience, including plans and programs. Deep familiarity with development issues in Pakistan with focus on gender equity. Experience in a development assistance organization and proven ability to turn program ideas into project realities.

Computer skills required:

Good command of MS Office applications

Other preferences:

Ability to undertake field visits. Very good English writing and drafting skills. Demonstrated ability to work well within team.


 







Job Description:

  1. Undertake pre-award processes for GEP objective three: Gender Based Violence
  2. Align interventions, grant cycles and targets with assigned GEP objective as per Program Matrix and Annual Work Plan
  3. Work closely with government departments and agencies for developing non-competitive sub-grants
  4. Manage pre-award conceptualization and execution, including compilation of key documents such as sub-grant TORs, concept notes, USAID summaries and JREs
  5. Support Aurat Foundation led RFP processes and participate in their pre-grant orientation workshops
  6. Undertake technical evaluations of proposal applications and internal GMC and PSC approval processes
  7. Negotiate and finalize sub-grants with top contenders
  8. Plan and carry out programmatic pre-award assessment processes
  9. With support from AF counterparts, prepare regret letters for unsuccessful applicants
  10. Provide inputs to weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports
  11. Facilitate consultant recruitment and management processes as required
  12. Facilitate management of non-competitive sub-grants as required, including participation in opening meetings and mid-term reviews
  13. Report to the Team Manager of the Assessment Unit
  14. Other related tasks assigned by Team Manager
