A leading transportation company is looking for a Professional and Experienced Deputy Manager Ramp & Passenger Services.

Incumbent must have 2nd Class Bachelor Degree / Expertise in the Ramp and Passenger Services Handling, Including Baggage Services / Atleast 10 years of practical experience as Supervisory in the related areas each along with related Basic and Advance courses / must be Computer literate

Major Duties

To ensure strict compliance to their department/division operational safety and security functions and also ensuring operation are provided with necessary resources.

Operational:

Acts for and with the authority of Manger Airport Handling Services with full responsibility for all functions in a Shift and ensures the regularity of operations (OTP), smooth handling of flights and staff discipline, administration and training.

Maintain good working relations with the Customer airlines and have meetings with them regularly to improve the areas with regard to their SLAs and SOPs

Advises Duty Officer / Shift Supervisors at Passenger / Ramp / Baggage for improvements based on lessons learnt from previous discrepancies.

Ensures the proper deployment of Officers and Staff in regard to Duty Rosters so as to ensure optimum utilization of manpower and enable all sections to function efficiently.

Conducts regular meeting to brief staff on standards and procedures from the customer Airlines to improve day to day working and to solve any problems being countered by the Staff

Ensures that all Manuals, Circulars and Instructions issued by the Management / Manager Airport Handling Services are circulated among the Staff, maintained and kept up to date by concerned units.

Plans staff leaves in such a way to ensure that there is no shortage of trained staff in his/her shifts for key positions in coordination with Duty Shift Officer

Ensures the completion of all documents and maintenance of records in Passenger / Ramp and Baggage areas for Audit purpose

All changes in the schedule are brought to the attention of all concerned

Ensure Log books and Attendance registers are regularly monitored and maintained administrative with all respects.

Ensure the airline's ULDs are properly secure / maintained and SCM is transmitted timely and regularly.
