A USAID funded project based in Peshawar, KPK invites applications for the following position:

Assistant Manager Finance

Experience and Qualification         

2-3 year of experience in accounting / finance / audit, in computerized environment with an excellent command on Microsoft word, excel.

Experience in SAP accounting will be an additional advantage. Prior experience in accounting software is an essential.

Excellent communication / interpersonal skills are required

Qualification: ACCA / CA Finalist, with an experience in audit firm

 TORs

The Assistant Manager Finance will report to the Manager Finance and will be involved in financial management aspects of the reimbursable cost of FATA Institutional Strengthening Project by Abacus Consulting Technology (Pvt) Ltd.  Additionally, the Assistant Manager Finance:

  • Assist in day-to-day financial management and accounting of the reimbursable cost of FISP;
  • Book keeping / recording financial data in SAP B-1 accounting module.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Implement financial internal controls.
  • Prepares and records all receipts (where applicable) and disbursement vouchers.
  • Maintains and reconciles the general ledger monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Manages the petty cash fund.
  • Reconciles bank accounts.
  • Double checks all reimbursement requests against receipts provided.
  • Mails all cheques for payments and maintains photocopies in file.
  • Check all vouchers, invoices and cheques before submission to Manager Finance.
  • Maintain proper back-up documentation to ensure compliance with USAID rules and regulations;
  • Prepare financial reports as desired.
  • Prepare project support staff salaries and ensure EOBI is deposited by Abacus HO;
  • Ensures adherence with all relevant local laws;
  • Liaison with bank, vendors and prospective suppliers of services and subcontractors on all financial matters.
  • Inventory record / reconciliation with accounting records and asset safeguarding.
  • Any other task assigned by Manager Finance.
