Electrical Engineer

A Real Estate Developer, based in Islamabad has the openings for the Electrical Engineer as part of project management team for its high-rise mixed-use construction and development.

General Purpose:

Managing the Design, Execution, Completion, and Handover of the Project as Leader of the Electrical Team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Checking & coordinating Electrical design drawings with civil & ID drawings.
• Quality control & checking of execution of Electrical works & material used.
• Control and monitoring of Electrical works progress on site as per time schedules.
• Detailed study of tender , BOQs & Technical evaluation of Electrical equipment.
• Resolve design related site issues & coordinate all project drawings among consultants.
• Preparation of RFI’s & technical submittals.
• Response & resolve technical issues related to Electrical works.
• Project Management
• Design & execution of Electrical works as per the approved drawings.
• Assign, check and assist works to sub-contractors and supervision staff.
• Bill verification of work done by the sub-contractros.
• Carryout technical meetings with Consultants.
• Study latest R&D in the industry.
• Manage on-going installations works.
• Material schedule for Purchase required at site.
• Study and explain consultants design drawings.
• Timely provision of shop drawings.

Qualification/Experience

Minimum Graduation Degree with at least 5 years of experience as team leads for Electrical Works.

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications

• Ability to build trust and confidence with management and staff.
• Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Consultation skills; understanding of design and coordination with consultants.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations & industry standards etc.
• All Selection & Design Software related to works.
• 3D & 2D Modeling and Design capabilities in CAD tools.
• MS office & all basic official use software’s.
