Senior Reservoir Engineer (Male/Female)

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering with 12 to 15 years’ experience in E&P sector. Familiarity with E&P sector of Pakistan will carry weightage. Advance degree in Petroleum Engineering will be preferred.

Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to use Petroleum engineering principles to solve problems and identify production enhancement opportunities.
• Strong background in reservoir engineering and exposure of its implementation and management.
• Good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge.
• Expertise in working with Geoscientists, production & facilities engineers, and in preparing AFEs.
• Proficiency in using PC and expertise in commonly used reservoir engineering softwares covering Eclipse 100, Petrel RE, IPM suite, Kappa Saphir and Oil Field Manager (OFM) etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Presentation of research paper on SPE or recognized technical forum will be treated as plus.

• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Reserves assessment of existing and new discoveries through volumetric, material balance and reservoir simulation methods.
• Implement optimal operating strategy for efficient depletion of company operated & Non-operated fields / reservoirs.
• Perform analysis / interpretation of well test data using "Saphir" Software.
• Review and updates static and dynamic databases of Wells / Reservoirs and to monitor the behaviour of producing wells using "OFM" Software for good reservoir management.
• Preparation and implementation of production plan considering critical rates of wells and production projections by simulation model.
• To generate reservoir simulation models of new discoveries and updating the existing models including history matching and forecasting.
• Analysis of EWT of operated and non-operated fields/reservoirs.
• Understand the General requirements of the department and the company under the integrated Management System.
• Contribute towards the common efforts to protect the workplace environment by conducting activities in a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible manner.
