- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the field of Logistics.
- Should have Masters degree with majors in Marketing
Job Description:
- Acquire and manage clients for the company
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- Allocate and record resources and movements on the transport planning system.
- Communicate effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
- Book sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
- Direct all transportation activities.
- Develop transportation relationships.
- Monitor operations / transport costs.
- Negotiate and bargain transportation prices.
