Relevant Experience:

  • M.Com/MBA Finance, experience in development sector will be preferred.
  • Good understanding of computerized accounting system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics SL.
  • Basic knowledge of USAID regulations will be preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good computer skills especially MS Excel.

Job Description:

  • Prepare cash and bank payment vouchers, issuance and liquidation of advances to staff.
  • Maintain petty cash account and ensure safety and security of cash in safe and transit.
  • Conduct daily cash count with one of the senior staff and monthly cash reconciliation.
  • Ensure real-time data entry of cash and bank payments into accounting software.
  • Duly review documents for completeness and accuracy before processing payments.
  • Assist Finance Officer to reconcile financial record with grants database on weekly basis.
  • Deal with banks for funds transfers, staff payroll, allowances and other reimbursements.
  • Maintain proper financial record and filling system according to organization requirements.
  • Copy or Scan the financial documents for office record and send the original documents to HO.
  • Ensure deduction of withholding taxes and timely deposit into government treasury.
  • Assist Finance Officer in e-filling of tax withholding statements to the Tax authorities (FBR and SRB). 
  • Any other tasks may assigned by the supervisors.
