Italian Project Coordinator
Introduction:
The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is the lead apex institution for community-driven development in the country. Set up as a fully autonomous private sector institution, PPAF enjoys facilitation and support from the Government of Pakistan, the World Bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and other statutory and corporate donors. The PPAF aims to be the leading catalyst for improving the quality of life, broadening the range of opportunities and socio-economic mainstreaming of the poor and disadvantaged, especially women. The core operating units of the PPAF deliver a range of development interventions such as support to social mobilization, microcredit, community physical infrastructure, water, energy and disaster management, livelihoods, capacity building, health & education and environment and social safeguards at the grass roots/ community level through a network of more than 100 Partner Organizations across the country. Italian Project Objective:
The objective of the Program is to reduce poverty in the Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPP) Provinces and in FATA, by fostering sustainable social and economic development conditions through the improvement of incomes, production capacity and access to services. The general objective of the program is to reduce poverty in the bordering provinces of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with Afghanistan and The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), by fostering sustainable social and economic development conditions through the improvement of incomes, production capacity and access to services.
Purpose of Consultancy:
The purpose of this consultancy is to coordinate and facilitate the POs in Italian Project and PPAF targeting process adopted for the purpose of implementation in four bordering/adjoining districts of KP Province, nine bordering districts of Balochistan Province and one Agency of FATA.
Scope of work and expected deliverables:
The objective of this consultancy is to carry out:
- To coordinate with PPAF and Italian Project team
- Visits to field, for monitoring the process
- Document the process observed and submit report on weekly basis
- Verifying the key indicators from selected respondents to validate the quality of data.
- Fulfill any procedure determined by monitoring mechanism of PPAF for implementation of Italian Project
Qualification of Consultant:
- Master’s degree in Management, Finance or Project Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills
Contract Duration:
6-Months
