Physical Infrastructure

Job Type: Three Years Renewable Contract

Job Description:

• Plan and chalk out a work program for all the activities related to implementation of Community Physical Infrastructure projects in the selected areas.
• Physically visit and verify the existence of Community Physical Infrastructure scheme with a view to authenticate the information provided in Quarterly Progress Report
• Ensure the implementation of Community Physical Infrastructure projects as per the standard guidelines and specifications.
• Assess and report variance in cost and components against the planned estimates and design as laid down in the approved projects proposal (digest).
• Conduct meetings with the beneficiary communities of all the Community Physical Infrastructure projects visited with a view to   assess the level of participation and social mobilization, and gauge the ownership imparted by the respective partner organization to the beneficiary community.
• To assess the level of compliance for organization's Environmental and Social Management Framework.

Requirements:

Required Qualification:

• B.Sc. Civil Engineering or B.E Civil from HEC recognized institution or from reputed foreign university.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience, preferably on the design / construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Strong know how of contemporary civil engineering practices and low-cost, community managed infrastructure projects.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong know how of contemporary civil engineering practices and low-cost, community based infrastructure projects
• Willingness for extensive travelling
• Good interpersonal and report writing skills
