Terms of Reference for Field Investigator/Enumerator for Baseline Study in Lahore Region

Services of Field Investigators are required as part of team that will be assisting the project in conducting baseline studies covering the initial situation with regard to the project outputs, outcomes and impacts. The specific terms of reference for the positions are listed below:

I.                     Specific Term of Reference

1. Study and understand key background documents to understand her/his role and the objectives of the baseline studies;
2. Participate in the orientation/training session on approach and methodology for baseline studies;
3. Familiarize him/herself with questionnaires, and the information required to be filled in it;
4. Completely understand the purpose of enumeration, data collection and questionnaires;
5. Visit targeted (given) areas, households and duly fill questionnaires as per the guidelines;
6. Review, correct, finalize and validate filled questionnaires;
7. Collect, record and report data accurately and diligently;
8. Submit signed/ verified questionnaires to team leader;
9. Undertake data entry of filled in questionnaires on a daily basis;
10. Work under the overall supervision of team lead for the baseline;
11. Any other task assigned by the team leader.

II.                    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates should have at least 2-3 years experience in data collection/surveys/studies preferably in agribusiness sector. The potential candidate should have a master degree in in rural development, agriculture, social or business studies.

The enumerators/investigators will report to their respective regional team leaders under the overall supervision of study Team Leader.
