Position Objectives:
-
The Vaccinator will be responsible for providing vaccination to children, women and families in health facilities, outreach sessions and communities. The vaccinator should possess a strong passion for promoting health, preventing diseases, and improving the quality of life for individuals and communities.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

Vaccinators should conduct House-to-House visits to deliver vaccination services, health and hygiene education.
|

|
Immunize children and women against vaccine-preventable diseases in line with EPI protocols and RED REC micro plan.
|
4
|
Maintaining daily/permanent registers, Expected Delivery Date list and NEIR attendance on daily basis including keeping record of due children, all according to established procedure.
|

|
Vaccinators are required to conduct outreach activities in the field, participate in medical camps, EPI campaigns and village health committees.
|

|
Vaccinators are required to update ILR temperature chart, stock register and documentation as per requirement.
|

|
Maintaining discipline and showing compliance to reporting officers, supervisors and monitors.
|

|
Compliance and affirmation to any task assigned by the competent authority. You will adhere to the Code of Conduct policy, duly signed by you in the contract.

He will be responsible for the correct use, sterilization and care of all the equipment/medical supplies used by the team in the implementation of the program.

Education.
|
|
Health technician diploma from a recognized institute with at least 1 year of experience in relevant field is necessary.

|
Experience.
|
|

1. The incumbent must have at least 1 year of professional work experience in disease surveillance, immunization activities, healthcare services & emergencies or other field-level public health programs.

2. Proficiency in MS Office.
3. Familiarity and work experience with community.
4. The incumbent must have clear understanding of gender equality, sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment.
