Senior Psychologist

Job Description:

The Psychologist will be responsible to provide confidential counseling and psychoeducation to women and girls, support emotional resilience, and facilitate referrals to specialized services. Maintain accurate client records, uphold ethical standards, and ensure data protection. Adhere to organizational policies and ensure the security of assets and documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

Counseling and Support:

• Provide individual counseling sessions to improve the psychological well-being of women and girls, ensuring complete confidentiality.
• Offer psychoeducation on mental health, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.
• Identify cases requiring specialized intervention and facilitate referrals to health services, protection agencies, and other relevant support networks.

Case Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain an accurate database (hard and soft records) of client consultations while ensuring strict data protection and confidentiality.
• Document cases regularly and draft case studies for reports, ensuring informed consent and confidentiality in all records.

 Ethical and Confidentiality Standards:

• Implement and uphold ethical principles, including client safety, informed consent, and confidentiality in all service provisions.
• Follow data protection protocols to prevent risks such as violence, discrimination, or stigma against registered clients.
• Carry out any other task assigned by the supervisor
