Social Mobilizer

Job Description:

To engage with communities, raise awareness about the Punjab Helpline, and facilitate access to services by mobilizing individuals, particularly women and marginalized groups, ensuring they receive the necessary support and information.

Main Responsibilities:

Community Outreach & Awareness

• Conduct awareness sessions to inform communities about the Punjab Helpline and available services.
• Engage with local stakeholders, including community leaders, CSOs, and government representatives, to strengthen outreach efforts.
• Organize and participate in community meetings, events, and awareness campaigns on protection, legal rights, and available support services.

Case Identification & Referrals

• Identify vulnerable individuals who may require legal, psychosocial, or protection support.
• Facilitate referrals to appropriate services through the helpline and follow up as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive cases.

 Coordination & Networking

• Work closely with helpline staff and relevant service providers to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community-based organizations for stronger referral mechanisms.
• Provide feedback on community needs and service gaps to enhance helpline accessibility.

Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain records of outreach activities, community engagements, and case referrals.
• Support in data collection and reporting on mobilization activities and community concerns.
• Share insights on emerging protection trends and service needs within communities.
