Science Teacher (Trainer for
teachers in Umerkot)

Tasks:

• Design and deliver training on science to grade 4 and 5 teachers in Umerkot
• Training is planned for government teachers in Sindh, therefore the curriculum of Sindh Education Department would be followed.
• Design training package including need assessment form, module, session plan, pre & post-test and follow up tool on organizational prescribed formats.

Qualification & Experience:

• Trainer should have advance degree in Science subject having atleast 5-7 years’ experience in designing and delivering interactive teachers training on science to government or private schools
• Trainer must know Sindhi language and should be aware of educational challenges of science subject and solutions in rural education context
• He/she must have sound understanding of Sindh curriculum and students learning outcomes.
•  He/she must be able to provide conceptual clarity to teachers and deliver quality and effective science lesson to students by using day to day objects.
• Trainer must be willing to travel and stay in Umerkot to deliver trainings on the mutually agreed dates.
