Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and business advice to drive strategic investment decisions.
  • Advise the business on financial implications with respect to major changes, such as integration and reengineering.
  • Assist in budget preparation and management activities.
  • Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances ·
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, posting of entries etc.
  • Build effective relationships to enhance the company’s business and statutory reputation within the local legal framework.
  • Subject expertise on “Taxation laws and understanding”
  • Manage external auditors and effectively manage the integration of financial services.
  • Change business requirements to adapt to the external market and industry changes and adjusting financial structure and processes.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Ensures all business transactions are reasonable, appropriate, and comply with operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring of financial and operational risks, Recommendation of solutions to supervisor for addressing operational risks
  • Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills as well as general accounting experience and knowledge
  • The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): MBA/BBA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, economics, or related field from a reputed University
